Ditch the workout, join the party!

If you haven't heard of Zumba, where have you been? This Latin American dance workout is taking the UK by storm and you can now join us for a brand new Limelight Zumba classes.

Zumba is a fusion of Merengue, Salsa and other Latin beats that provides a fantastic workout and loads of fun. In fact, you'll be enjoying yourself so much, you won't notice how hard you're working!

Zumba Fitness is the world’s largest – and most successful – dance-fitness program with more than 10 million people of all shapes, sizes and ages taking weekly Zumba classes in over 90,000 locations across more than 110 countries

Lisa is now a fully qualified Zumba instructor and will be running classes in the sports centre at Brighouse High School.

You have three Limelight Zumba sessions to choose from:

Tuesdays: 6pm - 7pm

Tuesdays: 7pm - 8pm

Thursdays: 7pm - 8pm

Each one will cost £4 and will of course be pay-as-you-go.

Anyone over 12 is welcome, but particpants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

All you need to do is wear comfortable workout shoes and bring plenty of fluids. We also expect this class to be popular, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Charity Zumba Challenge: Sunday 29th April

Can you rise to the two hour Zumba challenge?

We'll be working out, having fun and raising money for Save The Children so why not come along and join in this special Sunday morning session.

Based in the Brighouse High sports hall, entry is £5 and tickets are available from Lisa McCann or by emailing paulnmel@tiscali.co.uk

You can gather sponsorship to raise even more money and forms can be collected in the same way.

Doors open at 10am and dancing starts at 10.15am; don't miss it!
